What to expect in this role

Reporting to the Manager, Communications and Support Services, you will:

  • Provide in-person front desk reception, with a focus on customer service.
  • Greet visitors in a professional manner and follow established security protocols.
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails and escalate inquiries to the appropriate departments as per established processes.
  • Assist with day-to-day deliverables and projects by reviewing, updating, and creating materials and documentation.
  • Flag emerging issues to the manager and assist with implementing processes and procedures.
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail and courier pick-ups and ensure delivery to the correct departments.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information or documents.
  • Assist with other administrative duties as assigned.

What you need to qualify

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a professional administrative or call-centre environment.
  • Strong oral and written skills to effectively respond to phone and email inquiries and to review and update documents and materials.
  • Experience multitasking while exhibiting attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • French is considered an asset.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
