In Simon's team, Operations Manager of the GEO business unit, you will work from our Morneau Transport division in Mississauga and your daily life will look like


  • Increase automation of customer pickup data entry.
  • Meet existing customers to present to them the common advantages of an electronically integrated solution (The same will apply to all new customers added).
  • Contribute to the strategy and vision allowing the company to become a completely digital organization (order taking).
  • Bring the automation project to maturity and monitor its execution.
  • Structure, write and update data entry procedures and processes from ordering to invoicing.
  • Work in conjunction with pricing and auditing to ensure data integrity and quality. Optimize upstream invoicing.
  • Target customers whose pickup requests are not electronic or automated and ensure the full integration of customers into our network.
  • Understand, recommend, and sell technological integration methods for order taking as well as their advantages.
  • Establish a conversion or integration schedule and schedule based on the opportunities and capacity of selected customers.
  • Communicate and meet with customers to promote the benefits of order automation.
  • Communicate and standardize data entry procedures and limit exceptions.
  • Resolve the most complex cases or files, propose solutions and implement them.
  • Identify, select and maintain KPIs related to order taking (dedicated FTE based on data input, % automation).
  • Establish and document results, objectives, as well as any changes made to the order-taking process as well as resource utilization indicators.
  • Communicate information to operations and customer service managers to plan and recommend labor needs.
  • Develop a continuous improvement plan aimed at increasing data quality and its automation by reducing the resources allocated to it.
  • Be open to traveling occasionally (multi-site reality).
  • Perform other related duties.

  • University Study or the equivalent in administration, operations management, engineering technology·
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in operational processes, transportation, integration solutions
  • Be agile, engaged, comfortable and communicative in change management processes
  • Good knowledge of systems (EDI, API, Synchro, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and sales skills, customer relations, persuasion
  • Great analytical capacity
  • Organization and adaptation

  • Ability to work in a team
  • Integrity and work ethics
  • Advanced English and French language requirement (interactions with French-speaking suppliers, customers and employees and/or located inside the province of Quebec).
