Responsibilities Include

  • Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move materials and products within the warehouse or facility.
  • Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Coordinate general warehouse operations, duties and activities.
  • Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, including loading, packing, wrapping, labelling and shipping.
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products, including packing, unloading, labelling, logging and storing.
  • Conducting stock checks, including documentation of warehouse transactions and records, storage of inventory and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality and quantity of orders for receiving and shipping.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse working environment.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors, coworkers and clients in-person, online or over the phone.
  • Other tasks as required and as assigned by Managers.

Requirements

  • Clean criminal record and satisfactory credit history.
  • Maintain all necessary licences and receive all required training for safe operation and maintenance of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills for communications with clients and coworkers and for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Work Schedule

  • Weekdays, occasional weekends, about 40 Hours per Week

Experience

  • Customer-Oriented, Energetic and Positive.
  • Prior experience in inventory management or logistics.
  • Knowledge of basic warehouse procedures and practices.
  • Experience with other types of material handling equipment.

Language

  • Good command of written and spoken English (required)
  • Second Language (an asset)
