In your role, you will:
- Manage and
deliver on time, engineering projects and activities related to major
milestones for one of many existing and/or new platforms.
- Manage
cross-functional teams in the establishment of scope, schedule, and budget
of engineering projects.
- Lead and
coordinate technical Engineering Change planning, ensuring completeness
and harmonization with stakeholders.
- Enforce
adherence to Bombardier practices and Knowledge Standards to promote
integrity and consistency in technical engineering activities.
- Work closely
with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer
representatives to ensure adherence and compliance of projects scope,
schedule, and budget.
- Manage and
establish engineering related priorities between projects and activities,
complete strategic schedule analysis, and communicate and harmonize these
priorities.
- Identify and
report on risks and lead risk mitigation planning and execution.
- Participate
and/or coordinate within the internal safety and security processes to
assess, contain, and correct potential product deficiencies with
cross-functional stakeholders.
- Prepare and
provide visibility of budget requirement / resource allocation.
- Prepare and
present visibility reports for the various levels of the organization.
- Coordinate
Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) cross-functional reviews.
- Coordinate
and manage multi-site activities and remote participation as necessary.
- Coordinate
formal engineering document release (Drawings, ModSums, Compliance
Documents, Service Bulletins etc.)
As our ideal candidate,
- You have an
Engineering degree, or relevant diploma with equivalent working
experience, with 3-7 years in project management or aerospace.
- You are
familiar with Program/Project Management processes and principles.
- You have
sound aircraft technical and/or manufacturing experience.
- You have
previous experience in structural and / or systems development would be an
asset.
- You
demonstrate a professional attitude and superior communication skills.
- You have
excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy,
attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities.
- You have a
natural leadership and pro-active attitude with the ability to manage
multiple priorities;
- You are
self-motivated, autonomous, enthusiastic and results oriented.
- You are
technically curious.
- You
demonstrate the ability to work willingly and independently in a fast
paced, challenging environment.
- You have
effective problem-solving skills with the ability to make good decisions
to move projects along to meet or exceed the targets.
- You have good computing skills; proficient in MS Office and experience with MS Excel and MS Project is an asset.
