Position Responsibilities

  • Schedule routes and dispatch crews, on a daily basis, to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform data entry duties in the Company’s system (TRUX).
  • Complete, daily, weekly, and monthly productivity reports.
  • Daily route closing.
  • Validate timecards and overtime to submit to payroll for processing.
  • Support Management to ensure that they are optimizing the efficiencies of their respective crews
  • Act as the first point of contact to provide information to customers.
  • Coordinate program participation and changes to regional policies, communicate with managers about operational concerns and or logistics issues
  • Coordinate daily with maintenance on operational needs

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience in a dispatch role.
  • Knowledge of the city and region.
  • Administrative experience is an asset.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility and willingness to work simultaneously on a wide range of tasks and projects.
  • Experience in waste industry is considered an asset (Residential, Commercial, industrial, fencing and portables).
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability/knowledge of TRUX is an asset
