Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes, as well as proficiency in SAP and Oracle systems. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counting and inventory reporting to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Manage shipping and receiving activities, including verifying and inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Utilize SAP and Oracle systems to track inventory movements and update records.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the system.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, such as bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
- Coordinate with carriers and vendors to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Assist in resolving any shipping or receiving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in SAP and Oracle systems.
- Strong knowledge of Excel for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in shipping and receiving.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
