Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices and check requests for
accuracy, appropriate documentation, and approval.
- Sort, code, and enter accounts payable data into the
accounting system.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements,
and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments,
as well as issue checks for accounts payable.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and
take necessary actions on overdue accounts.
- Prepare banks & credit cards reconciliations
- Assist in cashflow management
- Maintain vendor files, including contracts, and
correspondence.
- Produce monthly expense reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes e.g.
accrual and prepayment schedules.
- Prepare costing of products.
- Ensure compliance with company policies.
- Liaise with other departments and vendors to resolve
any financial issues or queries.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation
and explanations.
- Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of Lucid
information.
- Works on special projects as directed.
- Performs other accounting, financial or administrative
tasks as required.
- Any other responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and
organizational and leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance, or related
field.
- 1-3 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software.
- Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced
environment, has a sense of urgency and accountability
- Self-motivating with a positive attitude, ability to
multi-task, and problem solve logically
- Great attention to detail and meticulousness to get the
job done properly
- Experienced with ERP and other production management
systems.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office including
spreadsheets and emails
Typical working conditions
- Typical office hours working Monday to Friday with
exceptions for inventory, cycle counts, audits.
- Constant communication with office, manufacturing, and management staff
