Our overall brand and digital channels have never been more important, speaking to and engaging with our widest audience, which is where you come in: We are looking for a talented, passionate Senior Coordinator of Video Production to join our team and help grow our great league!
Reporting to the Manager, Video Production, the incumbent will have the opportunity to shoot, edit and create compelling video content to support the growth of the CFL through the coverage and promotion of pillar events, and the activation of innovative brand and commercial programming.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the CFL Content Marketing team with video capture, editing and footage archiving.
- Shoot, light and edit interviews, press conferences, live game action and other events as required.
- Collaborate with Content team on weekly storylines and the visual elements that support them.
- Mentor and guide seasonal Jr. Coordinator, who will report directly to you.
- Maintain and expand archived video, and fulfill footage requests.
- Assist in CFL productions for events such as the CFL Combine, the Grey Cup Playoffs, the Grey Cup, and other major announcements.
- Daily oversight of CFL.ca Video and CFL YouTube pages, optimizing for growth.
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE):
- Highly skilled video editor proficient in Adobe Premiere or other similar software.
- Familiarity with the full Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in both long form and short form storytelling, including, but not limited to highlight reels, athlete features, narratives, documentaries, in-stadium content, partner deliverables, etc.
- Strong camera operating skills, and experience using mirrorless and cinema cameras a plus.
- Confident communicator with ability to work independently and/or collaborate effectively as part of a project team. Must be comfortable accepting feedback, alternate approaches, and specific direction.
- Extensive CFL & football knowledge considered a definite asset.
- Ability to juggle several ongoing projects at once and remain calm under pressure.
- Keep updated on industry trends, fan tendencies, pop culture, and evolving software resources.

- May be required to travel to CFL pillar events, including but not limited to CFL Combine, Grey Cup Playoffs and Grey Cup.
LOCATION:
This role is based in Ontario, at the CFL League Office in Toronto (50 Wellington St. East). The successful candidate must be located in Ontario and able to attend the office at least two days per week. In addition, all employees will be required to attend meetings or other business events at the league office or other venues as business needs dictate.
