Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Provide prompt, direct and courteous service
- Assist with customers' questions, needs and purchases
- Cultivate successful relationships with all customers
- Collect payments by accepting cash, check, debit,
credit or charge payments from customers; making change for cash customers
- Balance cash drawer
- Stock and clean shelves
- Answer telephones
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by
complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Contribute to the front shop team goals
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and over
the phone
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ customer service experience working in a
retail setting
- Experience using a POS system
- Strong level of professionalism
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- General math skills
- Exceptional communication, listening and interpersonal
skills
- Positive attitude
- Initiative and ambition
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
