Job Responsibilities
General
- Member Satisfaction – maintain and grow membership
- General maintenance and upkeep of the club building
Club Operations
- Serves as the
Facility Manager for the entire property.
- Provides a monthly
report to the Board
- Maintains all
approved club by-laws, policies and procedures including but not limited to;
general, operational, membership and personnel policies
- Recommends changes
to by- laws, policies and procedures when necessary
- Manages processes
related to LBC employees, volunteers and members including but not limited to
record keeping
- Schedules and
oversees repairs and maintenance to the facilities, including outside
contractors
- Manages insurance
policies and grants
- Manages private boat
storage and locker rentals
- Manages and tracks
all memberships
- Manages annual club
events
Banquet Hall
Administration
- Purchases supplies
and maintains inventory
- Handles all accounts
payable and receivable
- Organizes cleaning
and maintenance of the facility
- Produces quotations
and invoices for rentals
- Tracks and manages
staff time sheets
- Manages the ATM
Marketing and
Communications
- Manages, improves
and maintains the club’s web site and social media accounts as needed
- Provides quality
communications with the club’s Board of Directors, employees, members and
volunteers through the existing channels
- Engages LBC
membership in projects, initiatives, events and problem-solving
Committees
- Attends regular
meetings of the club’s committees and provides advice and recommendations where
appropriate
- Serves as an
ex-officio member of the club committees and the Board of Directors
(non-voting)
- Serves as
administrator for committees
- Schedules committee
meetings
- Coordinates
committee activities
Financial
- Receives and records
all payments to the club using the club’s financial software
- Records and make all
payments from the club using the club’s financial software
- Keeps accurate
financial records (using the financial software) of all automatic payments
including the club’s credit card
- Performs and
accurately record bank deposits
- Prepares monthly
financial documents for the bookkeeper
- Performs biweekly
payroll for club employees, including onboarding tasks for new employees
- Protects the assets
of the Club
- Maintains a “best
practices” approach in controlling expenses while maintaining member
satisfaction.
- Realizes
productivity and cost savings opportunities that do not detract from
member/guest quality and service standards.
- Makes recommendations as needed to adjustment of budgets, changes in cash flow needs and other financial matters to the Treasurer in a timely manner, with appropriate suggestions for remedial action to be presented to the Board of Directors.
