WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL FINANCIAL ANALYST IS RESPONSIBLE
FOR:
- Efficient
and accurate data manipulation and analysis using MS Excel and other
internal systems
- Create
and process biweekly AR invoices for Federal, Provincial and Commercial
clients as well as sales adjustments and manual invoices
- Perform
AR collections calls to clients on a regularly scheduled basis and be a
key point of contact for clients
- Calculate
and prepare various bi-weekly/monthly government remittances including
EHT,CPP, EI, Taxes and garnishments, WSIB as well as bi-weekly Pension
payments
- Safety
Services invoicing, sales adjustments and manual invoices
- Generate
Bi-weekly Sales Adjustment and manual invoice reports
- Play
a key role in delivering certain Finance team projects such as fixed
monthly invoicing and CAAT pension.
- Assist
with month end reporting activities such as creation of journal entries,
perform analysis and assist with the bank reconciliations
- Work
closely with regional managers, scheduling, and human resources teams
within the organization to resolve any invoicing delays or disputes
- Learn
other finance team member responsibilities to ensure sufficient
backup/vacation coverage in the areas of Payroll, Accounts Payable and
Records of Employment (ROEs)
- Other
ad hoc responsibilities as directed by senior members of the finance or
management team

- University/college
diploma in accounting/finance or business administration or related degree
- One
to three years’ work experience preferred but not required
- Exceptional
organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent
interpersonal, written and oral English communication skills
- Strong
collaboration skills, both in-person and using on-line tools
- Strong
attention to detail and minimizing errors
- Process/input
large volumes of data accurately and efficiently
- Ability/willingness
to quickly learn new technology, systems and processes
- Ability
to interpret, implement and adhere to organizational policies and
procedures
- Ability
to manage confidential and sensitive personnel files
- Intermediate
level skills and experience with Microsoft Excel with a high degree of
attention to detail and analytical skills conducting vlookup, pivot
tables, data manipulation and analysis
- Must
display a positive attitude, be flexible and able to adapt to changing
priorities
- Ability
to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure, without sacrificing detail
- Self-starter
and team player; able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite CRM Systems and other software programs)
