Responsibilities
- Manage
incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries regarding freight and
shipping services.
- Utilize
phone systems effectively to ensure clear communication with clients.
- Process
orders and handle data entry tasks accurately in our systems, including
SyteLine.
- Collaborate
with the shipping and receiving departments to provide timely updates to
customers.
- Maintain
detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Resolve
customer issues promptly while ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Communicate
effectively with team members to streamline operations within the supply
chain.
- Assist
in identifying opportunities for process improvements within customer
service operations.
Qualifications
- Proven
experience in a customer service role, preferably within a logistics or
supply chain environment.
- Strong
phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity
with freight operations and third-party logistics (3PL) is desirable.
- Proficient
in data entry with attention to detail.
- Ability
to navigate phone systems efficiently to manage calls effectively.
- Experience
with SyteLine or similar software is an advantage.
- Strong
organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced
environment.
- A
proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
