Pre-Packager (General Labour)

Job Responsibilities:
The Pre-Packager is
responsible for the following:
- Ensuring the final product matches the product
specified on the work order;
- Scanning labels to ensure all parts and components
transferred from the Assembler are correct;
- Notifying the Assembler of any missing parts and/or
components;
- Checking the final product for imperfections (i.e.:
scratches, improper stitching, etc.);
- Logging imperfections;
- Correcting imperfections and/or directing product to
correct department for corrections;
- Preparing product for shipping by securing parts and
components in accordance with packaging instructions;
- Transferring product to Packager;
- Maintaining a clean work environment;
- Adhering to all company and government legislated
policies and procedures; and
- Other duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to meet deadlines;
- Must be able to work independently and within a team
setting;
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal
skills; and
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- High school diploma;
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a similar role;
- English language proficiency (read/write/speak); and
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is
considered an asset.
Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) Required:
- Steel-toed shoes

- Manufacturing setting
