Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service (Front Desk):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers
in-person, over the phone, and via email.
- Provide detailed information about self-storage,
equipment rental, and mechanical services.
- Process customer bookings, payments, contracts, and
invoices accurately.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries or concerns
promptly and professionally.
Operational Support:
- ERS: Coordinate equipment rentals, including
scheduling, inspecting, and preparing equipment for customers
- Oversee the scheduling and basic coordination of
mechanical service appointments.
- Wilson Storage: Manage self-storage unit rentals,
ensuring units are clean and ready for new customers.
- Perform weekly or as needed site visits to support
business operations.
Administrative Duties:
- Use QuickBooks Online (QBO) to handle invoicing,
payment tracking, and financial record-keeping.
- Maintain accurate records of customer transactions and
operational data.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, rentals, and other
business activities.
- Assist with inventory tracking and supply ordering as
needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous
experience in customer service, office administration, or operations is
required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency
in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and basic computer applications (Microsoft
Office, email, etc.).
- Work Ethic: Self-starter
who can work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent
verbal and written communication skills.
- Transportation: Must
have a reliable personal vehicle.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with self-storage, equipment rental, or
mechanical service industries.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
