Key Responsibilities:
Ingredient Preparation & Mixing:
- Accurately
measure and mix ingredients such as flour, sugar, fats, liquids, and
leavening agents according to specific recipes.
- Operate
and maintain mixing equipment (e.g., mixers, dough machines) to prepare
dough, batters, and other products.
- Ensure
consistency in mixing to achieve the desired product texture, color, and
flavor.
Quality Control:
- Monitor
the consistency and quality of mixed ingredients, making adjustments as
needed.
- Conduct
regular checks to ensure that the products meet company quality standards
(e.g., texture, consistency, and appearance).
- Report
any quality issues to the supervisor and work to resolve them quickly.
Recipe Adherence:
- Follow
established recipes and production guidelines strictly to ensure products
meet the desired specifications.
- Record
ingredients used, batch numbers, and any changes or adjustments made
during the mixing process.
Batch Production:
- Prepare
and mix batches of dough, batter, or other products in a timely manner,
ensuring production schedules are met.
- Adjust
mixing times or ingredient amounts as needed to ensure the best product
outcome.
- Ensure
that all batches are properly labeled and tracked for inventory and
quality control.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance:
- Operate
bakery mixers and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean
and sanitize mixing equipment after use to prevent cross-contamination and
ensure hygiene standards are maintained.
- Report
any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor or
maintenance team.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Previous
experience in a bakery or food manufacturing environment is preferred,
especially in mixing or production roles of 2 years atleast.
- Knowledge
of bakery products and ingredients is an advantage.
Education:
- High
school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in food safety or
baking may be a plus.
Skills:
- Ability
to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately.
- Good
communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Strong
attention to detail and quality control.
- Basic
knowledge of food safety practices.
- Ability to operate mixing and bakery equipment.
