Duties

  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Manage accounts payable and assist with bank reconciliation processes.
  • Perform account analysis and budgeting tasks as needed.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and others for financial record-keeping.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Coordinate communication between departments and facilitate meetings as required.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
  • Respond to inquiries from staff and clients in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting, and accounts payable processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
