Responsibilities:
- Accept
payments from patients for services rendered.
- Schedule
patients for check-ups, cleanings and other procedures.
- Answer
the phone and patient questions.
- Research
dental insurance plans for uninsured or underinsured patients.
- Explain
benefits of dental insurance to patients.
- Answer
questions about fees, payment plans, and insurance coverage.
- Serve
as a liaison between patients and dentists.
- Consult with the office manager and assistants to ensure that patient records are up-to-date.
