Key Responsibilities
- Execute
high-volume production of breads, pastries, and baked goods for daily
service and retail needs.
- Follow
standardized recipes and portion guidelines to maintain consistency and
minimize waste.
- Maintain
a well-organized workstation and ensure mise en place is ready before each
shift.
- Work
efficiently to meet production quotas while upholding quality standards.
- Properly
store, rotate, and manage inventory to ensure product freshness.
- Operate
and maintain all bakery equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Adhere
to strict food safety and sanitation procedures, including cleaning
schedules.
- Assist
in packaging, labeling, and storing baked items for distribution.
- Collaborate
with team members to streamline production and improve efficiency.
- Handle
bulk ingredient preparation, including measuring, mixing, and portioning.
- Work
effectively during peak periods and contribute to a smooth workflow.
- Accept
and implement constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Maintain
professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude in a high-energy
environment.
- Perform
additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- Previous
experience as a Pastry Cook, Production Baker, or in a similar high-volume
baking role.
- Strong
knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient handling, and large-scale
production methods.
- Ability
to work quickly and efficiently in a structured environment.
- Strong
attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
- Effective
communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
