Key Responsibilities:
- Operate
forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products and
materials within the warehouse.
- Load
and unload shipments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Utilize
ticketing/tracking systems (such as Remedy or Siebel) to manage inventory
and track shipments.
- Communicate
effectively with customers and vendors to resolve shipping and receiving
issues.
- Maintain
accurate records of inventory movements and transactions.
- Collaborate
with team members to ensure timely and efficient processing of incoming
and outgoing shipments.
- Conduct
regular inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in safe
working condition.
- Adhere
to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working
environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum
of 3 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial
setting.
- Proven
experience in shipping and receiving processes.
- Familiarity
with ticketing/tracking systems such as Remedy or Siebel.
- Proficient
in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Teams, Outlook.
- Strong
communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with
customers and vendors.
- Detail-oriented
with strong organizational skills.
- Ability
to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as required.
