Drone-Assisted Exterior Cleaning Technician

Responsibilities:
- Operate
drones safely and efficiently to complete
each day’s tasks.
- Ensure
compliance with Transport Canada regulations and
guidelines for drone operations.
- Conduct pre-flight
checks and assess potential hazards before each flight.
- Maintain,
calibrate, and troubleshoot drones and cleaning equipment as
required.
- Operate
and maintain water pumps, filtration systems, and other exterior cleaning
equipment.
- Work
collaboratively with other pilots and crew members to ensure seamless
operations.
- Communicate
with clients and team members regarding project details and deadlines.
- Analyze
data collected during flights and provide insights and recommendations to
clients.
Requirements:
- Advanced
Drone Pilot License (Transport Canada-certified) or
willingness to obtain certification (we can assist with this).
- Strong
understanding of drone technology, regulations, and safety
protocols.
- Mechanical
aptitude – ability to operate and
maintain pumps, filters, and related cleaning systems.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability
to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong
attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physically
fit and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

A lot of mods were needed to make the drone work properly for cleaning, also commercial. Fast forward the result is a unique drone with tailor-made and uniquely adapted mounting equipment with specially designed cleaning equipment. A patent pending safety solution to prevent the drone from falling down during operation is also developed. The drone has been extensively tested and commercialized for window and facade cleaning, and has been used operationally since 2020 by the KTV Group in Norway.
