
Warehouse Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure
compliance with CBSA Sufferance warehouse operations and regulatory
requirements.
- Monitor
and verify the conformity of RNS, ACI eManifest Notices, and re-Manifest.
- Examine
Bills of Lading and Air Waybills to determine procedures for accepting or
releasing cargo.
- Perform
data entry for import/export cargo shipments and compile relevant
documentation.
- Notify
consignees or representatives regarding shipment arrival dates, customs
clearance requirements, and shipment weights.
- Authorize
and finalize cargo release approvals.
- Expedite
cargo movement from the warehouse.
- Assist
customers with shipment tracking inquiries.
- Analyze
and resolve customer and vendor issues to ensure high levels of customer
satisfaction.
- Communicate
effectively with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely order
processing, special requests, and delivery coordination.
- Coordinate
with CBSA, Transport Canada, and other governmental agencies for shipment
examinations and releases.
- Identify
hazardous materials upon receipt and ensure compliance with safety
regulations.
- Lead
the operations team in managing bonded shipment movements, customs
releases, and pickup/delivery requests.
- Supervise
the preparation of invoices for bonded freight movements.
- Complete
all mandatory security and regulatory training as required.
- Ensure
adherence to all applicable regulations and compliance standards.
- Perform
additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- University
degree or college diploma in Warehouse & Distribution, Freight
Forwarding, Logistics & Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 3-5
years of experience in a similar role within Canada.
- Experience
in CBSA Sufferance and Bonded Warehouse operations is an asset.
- Proven
ability to manage a team and work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented
and team-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability
to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Strong
interpersonal skills for effective communication with third-party vendors
and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent
verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
