Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Drone Pilot to join our exterior cleaning operations team. This role involves operating drones and specialized cleaning equipment to deliver high-quality services efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of drone technology, mechanical aptitude, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate drones safely and efficiently to complete daily cleaning tasks.
- Ensure full compliance with Transport Canada regulations and operational guidelines.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and assess environmental hazards before each mission.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot drones and cleaning equipment as needed.
- Operate and maintain water pumps, filtration systems, and other exterior cleaning tools.
- Work collaboratively with fellow pilots and crew members to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project details, schedules, and expectations.
- Analyze data collected during flights and provide insights and recommendations to clients.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Advanced Drone Pilot License (Transport Canada-certified) or willingness to obtain certification (we can assist).
- Strong knowledge of drone technology, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Mechanical aptitude – ability to operate and maintain pumps, filters, and cleaning systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

A lot of mods were needed to make the drone work properly for cleaning, also commercial. Fast forward the result is a unique drone with tailor-made and uniquely adapted mounting equipment with specially designed cleaning equipment. A patent pending safety solution to prevent the drone from falling down during operation is also developed. The drone has been extensively tested and commercialized for window and facade cleaning, and has been used operationally since 2020 by the KTV Group in Norway.
