Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly under
the guidance of cooks and chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen,
including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food
handling practices meet health regulations.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies
as needed.
- Support the cooking staff by preparing ingredients,
such as chopping vegetables or measuring ingredients.
- Assist in cleaning up after meals, ensuring all areas
are sanitized and ready for the next service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service
during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service
environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and handling
procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while
maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
from experienced cooks and chefs.
- A passion for the food industry and a desire to grow within the culinary field is highly valued.
